Grace Blackwell is a composer and music designer. She has experience in writing for non-linear interactive music systems and implementing them using Wwise; and writing for linear media forms, working on many short indie films.

Grace has a unique sound, consisting of dark and evolving soundscapes with quirky motifs, crafted using unusual instrumental techniques, tonal palettes and synthesis; specialising in using stringed instruments and percussion to their fullest capability.

Grace started playing music when she was 6, learning to play the violin. Grace progressed in her musical abilities and received a Batchelor’s degree from the University of Huddersfield in Music, and continued to the University of Chichester to complete a Master’s degree in Composition for Film/TV and Games.
